IP Complex Plusz
IP-based cost-efficient data transmission
IP Complex Plusz service is recommended for multi-site companies where it is of key importance to have multi-way communication capabilities with high quality while keeping costs at minimum level. Security and closed nature of the network is guaranteed also by a professional proactive operation function. New sites can be added to the existing network with minimum investment. With the IP-VPN solution the virtual center of the network is the customer’s headquarters or site.
Solution offered
Virtual
private network offers a solution for companies that want to use the
telecommunications service provider’s network instead of their own network. With this solution a virtual network is
created where data can be transferred in a secure closed way between the
network termination points.Integrated
voice and data transmission service can also be used via the networks.
Who can benefit from the T-Systems IP Complex
Plusz service?
- Multi-site companies that use or want to use IP protocol.
- Those whose sites can be interconnected via differing technological solutions.
- Companies requiring in addition to high bandwidth also IP-level network operation function (do not have IT personnel or it is costly to keep them).
Benefits gained with the use of the service
- Increased competitive edge in the “new economy” (B2B, B2C, A2C), e-commerce, e-bank, e-marketplace, “service provider state”: e-government.
- Secure communication with clients and business partners.
- Increased profit – reduced costs, voice-data integration, web-based applications.
- Complex solutions for business process development, integrated corporate management system, distributed computer applications.
- Support to corporate growth, geographic expansion.
- Support to teleworking.
- Higher performance for the same price.
- IT and network security (IT/NET policy).
- Preparation of IT outsourcing since the service provider performs network management.
- Foreseeable charges – transparent and foreseeable prices.
Service parameters
- Availability with leased line and dial-up access: 99.5% with ADSL, SHDSL access: 99.0%
- Bandwidth range: 128 kbps – 1 Gbps
- Fault repair time limit: 72 hours
Service options
Leased line access
Recommended
when high bandwidth is needed or requirements for service quality are high.
ADSL
access
Recommended
for customers whose first priority is not to ensure symmetric data traffic, but
require higher transmission rate with lower costs.
SHDSL
access
Recommended when maximum 2 Mbps symmetric data transmission
connections are needed.
Dial-up
access
Recommended
for companies where access to the company network is needed – even remote access
– but the data volume to be transmitted is low or temporary or when only
telephone network is operational.
IPsec
access
Enables
secure data management with multi-level protection and low costs, while
offering the flexibility of Internet.
ISDN
back-up access
Recommended
for those needing particularly high service security of the network between
their sites because it is critical to ensure continuous operability of
applications for their normal business.
Examples of application
- Interconnection of branch offices with the parent company
- Network solution supporting the creation of network enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
- Core network for corporate mail system and intranet
T-Systems
interconnects the customer’s sites (networks) through its dedicated IP network.Interconnection between the customer’s
site and T-Systems’ IP network is created with an access link that can be
implemented with any type of connection (depending on the customer’s needs
and geographic restrictions).
T-Systems
installs at the site a network termination device (CE router) that transfers
information from and to the partner’s network according to predefined rules. These rules can apply to the method,
direction, quality and rate of data transfer. The service provider offers continuous monitoring of the
devices, fault repair and replacement of defective devices, and when the
customer’s needs change guarantees updating of the rules.
Sites can
be connected to the IP network in the following ways:
- with leased line (MLLN, ATM, EoSHDSL, GbE),
- with ADSL,
- with SHDSL,
- with dial-up access, and
- IPsec access (secure access over Internet).
When
voice transmission between sites is needed the IVD (integrated voice-data)
option offers a solution.
When as a
result of a technical defect the connection is not available, access to the
network is guaranteed with the ISDN back-up option that ensures continuous
data communication between the network termination points.
SLA report offers the customers information about the key quality
parameters of the service (annual availability, fault repair time, packet
delay, etc.) either online on a web interface or on a monthly basis as bill
attachment.
