T-Systems Hungary was the main sponsor of Oracle's professional conference

The Hungarian Oracle User Group (HOUG) held its annual professional conference on 8-10 April 2013 this year in Siófok for the seventeenth time.

T-Systems Hungary was the main sponsor of Oracle's professional conferenceThe three-day conference, whose main sponsor was T-Systems this year, was visited by more than 400 participants. Our colleagues held several professional presentations. Innovation manager, László Fekete, spoke about "Information-Technology and Communication in the Cloud" in an inspiring and comprehensive presentation on T-Systems Hungary's services. In the sessions, László Angyal shared his experiences on the Solaris virtualisation project; András Komáromi talked about the improvement of the efficacy of public administration processes; while Norbert Tóth and Dávid Csikós presented the company's mobile BI dashboard solution. On the last day of the conference, Péter Palaczk, Gyula Fekete and Géza Szekeres talked about their experiences relating to the support of Oracle Hyperion-based financial consolidation application in a colourful presentation including many client anecdotes. Beside the presentations though, our staff members were also asked to attend various round-table talks. The T-Systems stall had attracted lots of visitors throughout the entire conference; visitors could take a look at and try out the demo version of our in-house mobile BI dashboard solution. Nearly 60 people took the opportunity and completed our questionnaire.

While sponsoring many of the professional programmes, T-Systems Hungary was also the exclusive sponsor of the Tuesday evening event of the three-day conference. After delivering his opening speech, László Fekete picked out the winner of the valuable prize we had lined up for one lucky person that filled in our questionnaire, then he went on to take the participants on a tour into the American night. Right next to the bluebox photo booth, the Shelby Cobra replica car simulator was a perfect opportunity for a little car race around the track. Those keen on testing their skills on the dance floor were invited to wiggle their legs and shake their hips to the music of Tom Jones reproduced by Gábor Majsai and his band.

The conference and the elective sessions and programmes proved a great opportunity to deepen relations with existing and potential customers also.
