The event offered a great opportunity for the leaders of institutions, companies, organizations and governmental entities committed to high-quality education to set goals and define development directions together.
Representatives of the IT sector stressed the importance of providing IT training in a way that meets the requirements of the labor market and strengthening participants’ digital competences.
It has also been raised at the conference what steps should be taken in the near future to increase the popularity of IT as a career. Addressing digital competence development, T-Systems Hungary’s Marketing and Communications Director, Zsófia Bánhegyi described digital cities as signs of an evolving trend. In her presentation, she emphasized that the future is about digital technologies, to prepare for which students should become familiar with the diverse world of ICT as early in their lives as possible. That is the very reason why T-Systems Hungary sponsors the Euroskills competition, which this year focuses on digital cities.
Among others, representatives of IVSZ, Cisco and Microsoft Hungary discussed the professional challenges posed as part of the effort to modernize IT training.
