T-Systems Hungary will build the GSM-based traffic control and passenger information system of the local buses in Zalaegerszeg.

T-Systems Hungary to build another passenger information systemIn the Zala county seat information boards in ten stops will display the real-time traffic data of 34 bus lines. The system will also control the traffic lights which will give green light to the approaching buses to facilitate their travel. The development will take eight months, so the passengers will probably be able to benefit from the new system from autumn this year. The project for which an open public procurement procedure was invited earlier is worth HUF 190 million.  T-Systems Magyarország has already implemented 15 similar projects in the country, installing modern infocommunications systems on over 3300 buses and 440 stops to make public transport more reliable and convenient for the users.
