TiJöttök! (“YourTurn!”) reloaded

Cooperation to foster competitive national innovation

As the continuation of the very successful TiJöttök! Program, Entrepreneurship Foundation Hungary announced the first innovation project competition to be organized this year.
The competition’s Digital city Innovation Award, offered as a uniquely joint effort of the state-, the NPO-, and the business sector, is supported by T-Systems Hungary.

TiJöttök! ("YourTurn!") reloadedApplications to the TiJöttök! Innovation Project Competition can be submitted in three categories - digital city, healthcare, agriculture and foodstuffs industry - with products, technologies or services that are at least in their pilot phase and have not entered the international market yet. The professional jury selects the best three projects in all three categories and the selected projects will be introduced to the public in the form of films. The three Innovation award winners will be selected by public voting and may go to an international study tour where they will have the opportunity to receive feedback on their project in an international environment and find partners to go to foreign markets. The public voting will take place in April this year on the www.facebook.hu/tijottok.hu website.

The objective TiJöttök! of the Program is to show the potentials in research-development to students in higher education and to encourage them to choose a technical or natural sciences career thus creating a firm basis for the long term supply of professional researchers and engineers in Hungary. Applications can be submitted to the competition and the trainee program until February 15, 2015. For further details please visit the http://verseny.tijottok.hu website.

There will also be special prizes, e.g. HIPAVILON Kft.’s intellectual property audit, Agrotechfood Zrt.’s full-scope project- or start-up incubation service and participation in the consultation program of Design Terminal National Creative Industry Center. Applications are welcome from private persons and legal entities alike.

As the supporter of the Digital City Innovation Award, T-Systems Hungary Zrt.’s  Chief Executive Officer, Tibor Rékasi said: „As the market leader of the Hungarian info-communication sector the company deems it an important task to promote initiatives with the help of which innovative solutions are created and that support Hungary's digitalization. It is worth relying on the expertise of Hungarian engineers in the field of info-communication solution development to make the life of city communities easier. In this effort we expect numerous practical digital city innovations through TiJöttök!”

EFH launches a new trainee program to ensure that the TiJöttök! Program contributes to the success of the next generation of researchers and supports students in acquiring marketable professional skills. The best applicants of the trainee program may participate a six-week professional program in their respective field of expertise at T-Systems Hungary Zrt. - supporter of the program - and Sanofi-Aventis Zrt. Applicants must be higher education students of  pharmaceutical, medical, biology or info-communication studies.
